In an ideal setting in the heart of the Corbières, on the River Orbieu, upstream from the medieval village of Lagrasse, ythis small and charming hotel was just a ruined Catalan forge only 10 years ago. Totally renovated, the building now houses a restaurant and 6 spacious bedrooms in bucolic surroundings.
In summer 2008 six more luxurious, environment-friendly rooms will be ready, with geothermic heating/air conditioning. Each room has a private entrance and patio overlooking the Orbieu valley and the hills of the Corbières.
All rooms have TV and internet access.
The pool will be ready for 2009.
The restaurant opens on to a terrace in the shelter of a kiwi arbour, where breakfast and meals are served in summer season. The kitchen garden and orchard supply the chef with a vast selection of ingredients for this gastronomic cuisine, with its savours of local "guarrigue" herbs, and oriental spices.
The building has a full wheelchair access.
