Situated in the heart of a typical wine-growing village in the Languedoc Cathare region close to the famous medieval city of Carcassonne, and of the Canal du Midi, the "Château of Moussoulens" opens its doors to welcome you for your stay in one of its rural gîtes.
The 8 gites certified « Gîtes de France », can accommodate up to 43 persons in all, in apartments of one to three bedrooms. Each apartment has a living room with TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with separate toilet.
The Pagoda Tree Garden, the Main Courtyard and the Small Courtyard invite you to relax in preserved surroundings where everything has been designed to make your stay enjoyable : patio furniture, barbecue, children’s playground…
In the building itself, some parts of which date back to the 12th century, rooms have been converted to accommodate leisure activities such as snooker, gym, ping-pong or table football. The library can host up to 30 guests for lunch or dinner.
As the château is situated in the heart of the AOC Cabardès territory, you will also have the opportunity to taste the Château de Moussoulens and « Domaine du Fer à Cheval » wines…
