An emerging quality domain, the "Château St Jacques d'Albas" has been producing award-winning red, rosé and white wines since 2001 in a beautiful preserved site, surrounded by garrigue and pine forest.
For the soil and vine management, Beatrice and Graham Nutter have chosen to apply the "Méthode Cousinié", with no chemical weeding, and the harvesting is conducted manually.
Two farm buildings tastefully restored can host seminars or any kind of group events. During the summer, a number of classical and jazz concerts with european artists are held here, and naturally, each concert is an occasion to taste the wines of the domain !
For a longer stay, the Château d'Albas will welcome you in the heart of the vinyards, in the former mill now converted into a luxury self catering cottage. You will be able to laze in the garden, on your private terrace with its barbecue, or in the Château's swimming pool, admiring the outstanding panoramic view over the nearby hills. And if you prefer some more strenuous activity, enjoy a game of tennis !
The Château d'Albas is open you every day (except Sundays) for visits of the winemaking facilities and wine-tasting in the shop... of course !
